The famous Runnymede site, now largely owned by the National Trust, is home to a range of intriguing memorials well worth a visit while you’re in Egham. There’s the Magna Carta memorial and JFK memorial on Runnymede meadows, plus the Air Forces Memorial on Cooper’s Hill.
In the opposite direction lies Windsor Great Park - 4,800 acres of Royal parkland perfect for walking off a hearty pub lunch!
